Last week I was busy doing an AVP of some sort, and it took me some time to make a new one though I’m still good at my video editing skills (I think so), it took me a while with this one, first I lack resource second I made sure this one would not end up looking like another powerpoint presentation (like the previous one I did yeah it really sucked). I want something new and fresh for this one so I said, hey how about 3d and Flash, 3d in flash was not possible until flash player 9 now with 3d being run on flash a new era has begun and has revolutionized flash once more, 3d engines for flash sprouted, away3d, sandy 3d, and papervision 3d. I used papervision 3d to make my AVP and the output was amazing I never thought flash will go this far now animations are in 3d rotate here rotate there cool, well its cool if not overused but if becomes so overused then I need to be creative once more.

For someone without a 3d background like me its hard, I must acquaint with a lot of terminologies I never ran to before like renderer,scene,viewport,camera. wow it took me a while to understand this stuff, and of course you need to know the 3d objects also like plane, sphere, cube. and the animation part got a lot of tutorials from the web for this is done throught camera moves and math, but if you want to take an easy approach try the tweener by caurina it makes your animations easier and faster i gurantee that.

A week after my smart bro was installed it rained hard and add some lightning to it. So the next morning I tried connecting oops no connection so I went up to my roof and check if my canopy was fried up, ok I was in the roof the canopy is ok no sign of burns looks fine, while at the top I happened to spot some other homes using the same smart bro canopy as I am, here are the pics

Still I don’t get any connection at all LAN keeps on saying You have limited or no conection, Then I called up smart bro *1888 it’s free for smart sim, then they concluded my NIC is damaged, to support their theory I connected to to my sis PC and voila it connected I have internet again, which leads me to my theory

Getting used to it already, and here are my new feedbacks

1. I can now easily create  my reports, how did I do that?, I added all my task in redmine

make a custom query where assignedTo is me and status is all, export in csv open the csv paste in on my email and send it.

2. This is a concern you have to be an admin if you want to add new projects?… sounds funny to me I suggest the manager role can add a project.

3. really getting used to it, honestly my task management time spped up to 20%, meaning I’m now more effective, and I can track my projects progress, and get a hold of small task that I missed.

4. Its so flexible I can even changed the issue trackers I removed the default bug, feature support and jsut added task, yeah I want it plain and simple coz whether its bug, feature support it falls to you and its your task so i just made a task.

5. I know now how to customize the skin its just on the stylesheet folder, and if you want to change some text check the lang folder
